Zahra Hussaini, a Bamyan resident who recently studied public health at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh, died of a heart attack while presenting a presentation.
Zahra was 19 years old. She had previously studied economics at Bamyan University.
One of Zahra’s classmates says that after many efforts, she managed to get a scholarship to a Bangladeshi university and continued her education there.
Now that the news of Zahra’s death has reached her family from afar, Zahra’s parents have asked the university officials to send her body to Afghanistan.
