Local sources in Faryab say that a man named Rasool Dad, a resident of Dara Jawz village of Garziwan district, sold his wife in Dawlat Abad district of Faryab yesterday. According to this source, this man is an addict and sold his 35-year-old wife for 160000 Afghanis in cash. Mufti Mohammad Ismail, the director of Faryab’s fight against criminal crimes, says that Rasool Dad and his wife and a male mediator have been arrested by the security forces. According to criminal director Faryab, the main buyer fled from the area and is wanted by the security forces.
