Habiba Sharifi Released From Taliban Prison With Her Father

Ghor, March 10 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – Local sources in Ghor Province say that Habiba Sharifi, the protesting girl, and her father were released from Taliban prison.
On Wednesday (March 8, 2023), on the occasion of International Women’s Solidarity Day, Habiba Sharifi protested against the ban on women’s right to education and work, in front of the governor’s office of Ghor province.

On the occasion of International Women’s Solidarity Day, Habiba Sharifi protested against the ban on women’s right to education and work, in front of the governor’s office of Ghor province on Wednesday (March 8, 2023).
The protest of Mrs. Sharifi and several other women was suppressed by the violence of the Taliban, and after Mrs. Sharifi went to her house, the Taliban attacked her house and arrested her and her father.
After a day, Habiba Sharifi and her father were released from prison on bail and giving a written commitment not to participate in anti-Taliban protests.
