(Afghan Women’s News Agency) – Our sources from Bamyan province say, on May 13, a young schoolboy hanged himself in the Shahidan area of Bamyan city and ended his life. This boy was about 20 years old and student of the 11th grade of school. The cause of this suicide is still unknown.
This is the fifth person who committed suicide in less than three months in Bamyan. Poverty, lack of work and restrictions imposed by the ruling government are said to be the most important causes of these suicides.
