KABUL, May 4 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – The Taliban recently eliminated specialized medical positions for women in civilian hospitals. These positions in civilian hospitals in different provinces have been announced for men only.

Based on the list published by the Ministry of Public Health under the control of the Taliban, it shows that in more than 12 provinces, only the entrance exam has been facilitated for men and women have not been allowed to participate in the specialty completion exam.
Most of these courses are related to the civilian hospitals of Kabul Province, where only male participants are supposed to be admitted.

Meanwhile, a number of social media users have called this action of the Taliban as regrettable and said that even the fields that were reserved for women have been banned for women. From this action of the Taliban, it is clear that after this, women will not have Specialists in other departments in addition to the women’s department.
