SAMARKAND, April 14 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – The two-day meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan on Afghanistan, hosted by Uzbekistan, ended.
In this meeting, all parties lobbied for the Taliban, and nothing important was said about the difficult situation of women and children in Afghanistan, and only at the end of this meeting, the neighboring countries spoke as a reminder of the inclusive government and the removal of restrictions on women.

The foreign ministers of the participating countries held the United States responsible for the current crisis in Afghanistan and asked the United States and its allies to lift the sanctions against the Taliban and hand over the foreign currency reserves of the Central Bank of Afghanistan to the Taliban, as it is now under the control of the United States.

The website of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has published the joint statement of the foreign ministers of the participating countries, stated that the foreign ministers noted in the meeting that unilateral sanctions against Afghanistan should be immediately removed and its assets abroad should be returned for the benefit of the Afghan people.
According to this statement, the presence and expansion of terrorist groups’ activities in Afghanistan and its negative impact on the security of the region and the world were discussed in this meeting.

The participants in this meeting expressed concern about the spread of terrorist activities and said that the terrorist activities of ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Islamic movement “East Turkestan”, Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and some other terrorist groups are evident from the geography of Afghanistan.

The participants of this meeting asked the Taliban to take serious measures to fight terrorism in Afghanistan.

This meeting has been held in Uzbekistan, when twenty months have passed since the Taliban rule in Afghanistan, neither the ground for creating an inclusive government nor the ground for women’s work and education has been provided.
