As many as 500 men and women who participated in a technical and vocational training course six months ago in the fields of sewing and automotive technology in Pul Khomri city, the center of Baghlan province, graduated today after the end of this program. Dr. Naeil, who is in charge of technical and vocational training of the Social Empowerment Office, who has launched this training program for 350 women in the sewing department and 150 men in the motor technical department, says that the purpose of this program is to economically strengthen poor families and raise the skill level of women and men.
At the same time, a number of men and women who have graduated say that they can solve their and their families’ economic problems with the skills they have learned during these few months. Those who have graduated from this round of technical and vocational training in sewing and machine technique, ask the Taliban to facilitate more work opportunities for women and men.
