At the same time in the summer season and the weather is warming up, the number of tourists in this province has increased in the first days of Eid al-Adha. Based on the information of Bamyan’s information and culture officials, 48 thousand domestic and foreign tourists have visited Bamyan in just three days of Eid al-Adha.

Saifur Rahman Mohammadi, the head of information and culture of Bamyan, by presenting the mentioned statistics, feels hopeful that the number of tourists will increase in the coming days too.
However, a number of women vendors who have sold their locally produced products in different parts of Bamyan say that their sales have improved in the days after Eid.

Nadera Elkhani one of the female industrialists told the Afghan Women News Agency: “Before the days of Eid, I did not have good sales, and I was barely able to meet my daily needs, but in the few days of Eid, my work has improved. I hope that this trend will continue.”
Although some of these tourists are satisfied with the safety of the highways leading to Bamyan, they say that due to the bad economic situation of many families, they cannot afford to travel to recreational places.
The residents of Bamyan, in addition to agriculture and livestock, get the most of their annual income from the tourism industry, but this year, due to the drought, their agriculture has been severely affected by natural pests.
