A number of women protested in Panjshir province in response to the killing of a woman by a Taliban sniper. The protesting women of Panjshir have accused the Taliban of killing and assassinating the residents of Panjshir and say that the residents of this province, especially the women, now want justice. These women say that the world has remained silent in front of the killing of the people of Panjshir, and this silence is a violation of human rights and a betrayal of the people of Afghanistan. A few days ago, a Taliban sniper shot on the head and killed a woman who was trying to bring food to her husband in the Abshar district of Panjshir province. Local Taliban officials confirmed the woman’s killing, but said she was wrongly targeted on the suspicion that she was collaborating with the resistance front.
