Local sources in Khost district of Baghlan Province say that as a result of a military vehicle of Taliban forces overturning into the river on the public road of this district, five Taliban soldiers died. These sources say that this incident happened last night in Kotal Sochi village of Khost district when a convoy of auxiliary forces was moving from Pul-e-Khumri towards that district.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Asadullah Hashemi, the head of information and culture directorate of the Taliban in Baghlan confirms that a military vehicle of the Taliban forces plunged into the river as a result of the destruction of the road. Hashemi says that he confirms that the Taliban forces were wounded in this incident, but he denies the death of five Taliban forces in this incident.
