The National Resistance Front has announced on Sunday (May 1, 2022) that two women were killed in a battle with the Taliban in Baghlan province.
Four Taliban fighters were killed and four others were wounded in clashes between the Taliban and members of the Resistance Front, the statement said.
The front said two women who had taken up arms against the Taliban along with their men were killed.
“In these clashes, two epic ladies who used weapons to defend their region against the Taliban were martyred and the husband of one of these women was also wounded.”
According to the front, the clash took place in Tala and Barfak district of Baghlan province.
