KABUL, April 16 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – The Women’s Movement for Peace and Freedom, consisting of protesting women, announced its existence on Saturday, April 15, with a gathering in a closed place in Kabul.
This movement has been established for the civil struggle against the misogynistic policies of the Taliban and extra-legal and mass murders by the Taliban, the exclusion of women from work and education, the protection of human rights, especially the rights of women and girls, the strengthening of protest circles against extremism, and Gender Apartheid.
The protesting women chanted the slogans of “Women, Revolution, Freedom” and “Death to Terrorism and Supporters of Terrorism” and demanded the release of Alia Azizi, Musa Shahin, Matiullah Wesa and other prisoners from the Taliban prison.
