The Afghan Women’s Coordinating Body has expressed concern in a statement about the increase in the detention and torture of girls by the Taliban, stating that such actions have not occurred in the history of Afghanistan until now.

The group stated in their declaration that the detention of women and girls by the Taliban during this period is indicative of a serious threat to the rights, dignity, and respect of women in Afghanistan.

The women members of this group called the silence and procrastination against the cruel and cruel actions of the Taliban against the Islamic orders and the values ​​of the Afghan people and said: “Procrastination and silence to these cruel actions of the Taliban do not only mean complicity in this historical crime but also It is considered a betrayal of the honor and people of Afghanistan.
