The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Afghanistan says that the Taliban group has increased restrictions on women’s work and education, and businesses managed by women are on the verge of destruction.

This organization says in a report that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, the employment of women showed a quarter decrease.

Based on the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, issuing orders by the Taliban against women has caused a 35% decrease in the gross domestic product in Afghanistan, and women who are still engaged in small businesses such as selling handicrafts have also lost their customers. Their income has decreased unprecedentedly.

In addition to the fact that women do not have the right to work in domestic and foreign organizations, the Taliban in the provinces have also prevented women from continuing their own businesses.
