The country’s boxing federation has announced the dispatch of a sports delegation comprising 7 members of the national boxing team to compete for a spot in the Olympic Games.

According to the newsletter, these competitions will be launched from May 23 to June 2 to secure a spot in the Paris Olympics, hosted by Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

Afghanistan has not been able to qualify a player for the Paris Olympics in other competitions that have been held to secure a spot so far.

Furthermore, the restrictions on women’s sports have led to increased demand from the Olympic Committee to prevent Afghan athletes from participating in this year’s Olympic Games.

These competitions will be held in the summer of this year in Paris, the capital of France.

Previously, during the first period of Taliban rule, the discriminatory behavior of this group towards women had led to Afghanistan being deprived of participating in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
