Sources among Afghan migrants in Islamabad, Pakistan, report that unidentified armed individuals murdered an Afghan woman.

According to sources, this woman, known as Khatera, was the owner of a restaurant in the Senterus area of Islamabad and was killed on her way home on Friday night. Khatera lived in the Faisal Town area of Islamabad and hailed from Faryab, Afghanistan. Her husband was injured in the incident, and Khatera’s body has been transported to Afghanistan yesterday. The motive and perpetrators of this murder are still unknown and remain at large.

The attack on Afghan migrant women in Pakistan is not new; a short while ago, in a similar incident, two Afghan women activists were also wounded in this country following an attack by unidentified assailants.
