BALKH, Jan 13 (Afghanistan Women’s News Agency) – Sources in Balkh province report the discovery of a woman’s body in the vicinity of the fifth security district in Mazar-e-Sharif city, Balkh province.
According to sources, yesterday, on Friday, January 12th, the body of a young woman who had been brutally murdered was found inside a dumpster. The woman was 28 years old and her name was Zainab. While she was brutally murdered. The motive and perpetrator of her murder remain unknown.
This comes as on Wednesday, January 10th, the body of another woman who had been brutally murdered was discovered and retrieved from a stream by locals in the Paghman district of Kabul province.
Over the past two years, women and girls across the country have been brutally murdered, and their bodies have been discarded on roads, in dumpsters, and streams.
