Local sources in Baghlan Province reported that on the evening of Friday, May 10th, certain areas of Baghlan Province witnessed heavy rainfall and the occurrence of floods.

According to local Taliban authorities, in Baghlan Province, 450 individuals, predominantly children, women, and the elderly, have lost their lives as a result of these floods. Most homes in Nahreen District and its surrounding areas have been destroyed, and approximately ten thousand acres of agricultural land have been devastated.
