Following the lack of precise planning by the Taliban and relief agencies to assist the recent flood victims in the northeastern region of the country, alongside other segments of society, individuals with disabilities have also voluntarily joined in the process of aiding the affected in the northeastern and western zones of Afghanistan.

They have prepared a consignment of clothing for these affected individuals.

They have procured a hundred and fifty different types of clothing for the affected, which will be sent to the flood-affected victims in the flooded provinces through relevant organizations.

According to the United Nations statistics foundation, 8615 houses in 9 districts of Baghlan province and 250 houses in 5 districts of Badakhshan province have been destroyed due to the flood on Friday.

Save the Children organization also states that 40,000 children have lost their shelter due to the recent flood.

The Baghlanjadid district of Baghlan province with 73 fatalities and the Burka district of Baghlan province with 170 fatalities have recorded the highest casualty figures from the recent flood.
