KABUL, October 26 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – Local sources report that about an hour ago around 7:30 pm local time, a powerful terrorist blast occurred in the west of Kabul.

Sources told Afghan Women’s News Agency that the blast occurred in a boxing club in the Sultan commercial building in Dasht Barchi west of Kabul. Dasht Barchi is an area mainly inhabited by Shia and Hazara minorities. Reports indicate that a large number of athletes have been killed and injured in this event.

Ambulance sirens can be heard from the mentioned place and the area is surrounded by the Taliban.

Shia Hazaras in Afghanistan have been one of the most vulnerable groups in recent years due to their religious sect, and the gatherings of these people have been the target of terrorist attacks many times.
