Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf, a former jihadist leader, in response to the words of Mullah Habibullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban group, stated that one should not engage in suicidal actions under the guise of Sharia and should not commit injustice in the name of Islam.
Mr Sayyaf, on Friday, April 12, on his Facebook page, addressed Mullah Habibullah Akhundzada, writing: “Do not engage in wrongful actions under the guise of Sharia. Do not encourage suicide; do not commit this mistake. This act goes against the religion of God and His Messenger. May God destroy you; do not betray the Islam religion.”
Sayyaf’s remarks come as the national radio and television of Afghanistan, currently under the control of the Taliban group, had released an audio tape attributed to Mullah Habibullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban, in which he had instructed his fighters to continue suicide attacks as they had done in the past, stating that they are now free to carry them out.
He urged the suicide operatives of the Taliban group to continue with suicide attacks as they had done in the past to be prepared for war now and to sacrifice themselves against enemies to protect the regime.
The Taliban leader has also emphasized that the enemy is not unaware and is engaged in propaganda against the Taliban group.
Meanwhile, Mullah Habibullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban group, continues to impose more restrictions and regulations on the citizens of the country day by day, making life narrow and dark for the citizens, especially women and girls.
