KABUL, Feb 25 (Afghanistan Women's News Agency) - Khatera Rasikh, an advocate for women's rights and one of the protesting women, was recently apprehended by the intelligence of the Taliban group and subsequently released on bail by the group after 24 hours.

Monisa Mobariz, women’s rights defender, wrote on her X page on Friday, February 23rd, to disclose that Khatera Rasikh, a member of the Empowered Women’s Council of Afghanistan, was detained by the Taliban group’s intelligence and then released on bail after 24 hours.

Regarding the time and place of Khatera Rasikh’s detention by this group, Monisa Mobarez has not provided sufficient details.

It is important to note that Monira Sediqi, another protesting woman and active advocate for women’s rights, has been languishing in the detention of the Taliban group for over three months now, and her fate remains uncertain.
