Local sources have reported that an individual in Nangarhar province fatally shot his wife, son, and daughter-in-law during the iftar meal.
According to reports, this incident occurred last night, on Friday, March 23rd, in the vicinity of the eighth security district of Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province. The wounded individuals were initially transported to a medical facility and tragically succumbed to their severe injuries. The reason behind this event has been attributed to domestic violence.
Abdul Basir Zabuli, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Nangarhar province, has verified this news and stated that the individual accused of the murder of his daughter-in-law, son, and wife has been apprehended by the group and is currently under surveillance and interrogation.
Just four days ago, a woman in Paktika province also fatally assaulted her husband during the iftar meal.
For nearly three years, the incidence of murder and criminal events in the country has been on the rise due to escalating incidents of domestic violence.
