According to sources, the Taliban group launched an attack on Saturday, March 23, to detain a former member of the People’s Uprising Forces in Jaghuri district, at the Amir Mohammad Khan area in the fifth police district of Ghazni City.

Based on information from sources, after the attack on this house, Taliban forces shot and killed a man and took two other men with them.

The deceased individual in this incident was named Mohammad Ali, a resident of Malistan district in Ghazni province, and the detained individuals are the father-in-law and his relative Ahmad Ali. Ahmad Ali had briefly served as a member of the People’s Uprising Forces in Jaghuri district in the previous government and had recently returned from Pakistan.

The fate of these individuals is still unknown, and the Taliban group has not commented on this matter.

Meanwhile, Taliban fighters three days ago also insulted and humiliated an army officer named Taawous in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province while he was busy farming on his land, and then fatally stabbed him.

The Taliban group has intensified the detention, torture, and killing of former government military personnel for nearly three years, ending their lives for unknown reasons.
