Afghan Women’s News Agency – A number of women’s rights activists report that another female protester has been arrested by the Taliban group.

Shamail Tawana Naseri, the head of the Women’s Movement for Justice and Freedom, published a picture of Ms. Seddiqi and wrote that the Taliban arrested a woman protester named Manizha Siddiqui fourteen days ago.

Naseri added: “Once again, the extremist and misogynist group of the Taliban arrested and imprisoned another protester on October 9, continuing the gender apartheid and imprisoning women activists and human rights activists.”

She has further emphasized that women are victims only for seeking justice.

Manizha Seddiqi’s detention has taken place while protesting women Neda Parwani and Zhulia Parsi have been in Taliban prison for a long time, and their families have not been able to see them or clarify the reason for their arrest and finding their whereabouts.
