The helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran, Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, and other companions has crashed in adverse weather conditions. Iranian news agencies have reported that rescue teams have been dispatched to the area, and efforts to locate the President have been ongoing for several hours.

Local sources in Kabul city have reported that a group of Taliban militants opened fire on five unarmed individuals in this city.

Following the devastating floods in Baghlan and several other provinces in Afghanistan, the World Health Organization has announced that it has provided seven metric tons of medical supplies, including essential medications and equipment, to the flood-affected individuals in northern Afghanistan.

The World Food Program (WFP) has announced that as a result of the ongoing destructive floods in Baghlan province, more than 300 people have lost their lives and approximately a thousand houses have been destroyed.

A thousand days have passed since the resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan. During  period, significant transformations and changes have been witnessed in the lives of the people, particularly women and girls.
