KABUL, April 9 (Afghan Women’s News agency) – In a message, United Nations aid organizations have announced the ban on female employees and visitors.

Part of the message: “Please do not visit UNOCHA or the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs if you are Afghan female employees or  Afghan female visitors. The employees of the Taliban’s General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) are stationed at its gate.”

It is emphasized in the message that the Taliban intelligence monitors the ban on women’s work in the United Nations.
This is while a few days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban group banned the presence of Afghan female employees in the United Nations field offices in Afghanistan.

In response to this order, the United Nations gave its employees the opportunity to work from home for 48 hours. Now the media reported that this deadline has been extended until May 5, 2023. Because the intelligence of the Taliban has monitored the movement of UN employees to prevent the presence of Afghan women in the UN offices.
