BAMYAN, August 26 (Afghan Women’s News Agency) – Khaled Hanifi, the Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, banned the presence of women in Band-e-Amir National Park during a junket to Bamyan Province.

The Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice of the Taliban told that in the last two years, women have not observed hijab in this place, and after this, women will be prevented from going to Band-e-Amir National Park.

He has asked the religious scholars and local officials of the Taliban to cooperate with the religious police of this group in this decision.

Hanifi has also said that recreation is not obligatory and women should not go to recreation centers.
