Two Women and One Man Whipped in Public in Faryab

The Taliban's Supreme Court publicly lashed two women and one man in Faryab province. According to a release by the Supreme Court of the Taliban, one of them received 39 lashes and was sentenced to a year in prison for the charges of fleeing her home and engaging in an extramarital relationship, while the other woman was also subjected to 29 lashes.
